This Agrex Salt & Fertilizer Spreader Model XA250 has a metal hopper and is PTO driven (includes
the PTO shaft) for your category I tractor with 3 point hitch hookup. It is ideal for farmers, landscapers, grounds keepers, golf courses and sports fields.
The XA
Series is our most popular series, this model has a one-piece metal
stamped hopper that provides a perfect degree of descent for maximum
seed flow. It is powder coat painted and has a standard filtering grid and manual quantity control. This spreader is great for spreading fertilizers, seeds, sand and salt. As with all salt spreaders, the hopper should be cleaned between uses.
The rotor blades can be adjusted to change the
amount of seed or fertilizer thrown left or right. The center control lever
allows for a 90-degree left or right spread pattern or a 180-degree pattern
behind the tractor. The stabilizing bar in the middle of the hopper strengthens
the spreader and distributes the weight of the load.
The Agrex Salt and Fertlizer XA250 model has a max. load of 661 lbs. or 5.7 Bushel capacity and the working speed is from 3 to 16 mph at 540
rpm. The spread width is 6m to 18m (19.5' to 59').
Options available for this spreader include a deflector for
spreading salt and sand (PAR3000) and a remote control (COM1000). These options are available on this website.
