The Meyer Hotshot 70RD Walk-Behind Salt Spreader part #38170 is perfect for salt control in the winter and ground maintenance during the spring, summer and fall. The spreader is built to handle extreme conditions for year-round use. This spreader has a rust proof poly hopper, 13" pneumatic tires for easy maneuverability and a hopper cover to keep materials dry. The salt spreader has up to a 12 ft. spread pattern and has a large 70 lb. capacity hopper. All free flowing granular materials can be used in the Hot shot spreader including top-dress sand, rock salt, ice melt, limestone and fertilizer.

The spreader features a removable deflector shield for spreading in confined areas. The deflector shield prevents material from landing in unwanted areas. The material flow rate is easily adjusted with the flow setting wheel and a convenient push-button shut-off will quickly stop the flow of material.
